The Tower block stands alone against the sky, but in relation to an accentuated horizontal line of the podium floor on which stand the dome of the House of Deputies and the inverted dome of the Sen- ate. The block in fact consists of two towers, separated by a short gap, and they connect towards the middle by a bridge corridor. It is thus seen as a free-standing solid block with a slit in the middle from this side. Seen from an angle, where the wide sides that con- tain the windows are also in view, the homogeneity of the forms as blocks is not compromised, as the side planes give the impression of large screens.

This proposal for the architectural competition of the Peugeot Tower in Buenos Aires was not among the winners, but in fact it was the most distinctive, and put forward new ideas. The internal heights varied, the plans were not uniform, and it was one of the first examples where large and tall green spaces were inserted at various points of the interior. The facades reflected these varia- tions and depths, making the tower quite distinct from the uniform- ity of the exteriors in tower-building.
