Ham Saye Residential Building in Karaj, designed by Seyyed Navid Emami and Razan Architects, won joint Third Place in the Apartment Buildings category at the 15th Memar Award (2015). The building's shared interior spaces provide an opportunity for easy interaction among residents — children can play and study together while enjoying pleasant views of the outdoors.
This project, with its emphasis on the concept of "neighborhood" (hamsayegi) and the revival of social relationships in residential buildings, presents a different model of apartment living. The design challenges the isolation typical of modern apartment complexes by creating communal spaces that encourage neighborly interaction, fostering a sense of community within the building.
