House 1 is the name given to a modern residence in Isfahan surveyed by the Isfahan Urban History Project in its 1976 field season. The house features a brick facade. The street-facing side is dominated by an exterior staircase, ascending for three flights, as well as number of balconies and landings that project outward, giving the structure a sculptural quality. Balconies on one side of the house overlook a walled yard.
