Masjid Al-Islam was built in 1995 by the architect Javed Sultan, architect of the Islamic Society of Western Massachusetts built a few years earlier. It is a two-story rectangular-plan building of brown concrete block, with a gold dome and minaret. Entrance iwans and the tall and narrow windows are in the shape of pointed arches.Sources:Masjid Al-Islam. "About."
