Winner of the 4th Place at the 7th Memar Architecture Award (2007), the Pol-e-Roomi Office Building is located on Shariati Street in Tehran, designed by Catherine Spiridonoff and Reza Daneshmir of Fluid Motion Architects. Built for client Mohammadreza Eslami Fetrat between 2003 and 2007, the five-story building has a total area of 1,998 square meters.

The facade features a distinctive system of horizontal concrete louvers that provide solar shading while creating a layered, three-dimensional elevation. The ground floor is treated as a transparent base with full-height glazing, while the upper floors are articulated through the rhythm of projecting concrete fins. A full-height glass curtain wall on one side reveals the building's interior circulation and staircase, creating a dynamic interplay between solid and void.

The staircase design is particularly refined, with floating stone steps anchored by steel profiles, detailed with rigid foam insulation, painted sheet steel, and steel profile handrails — demonstrating the architects' attention to construction detailing. The interior spaces feature clean, minimalist finishes with natural stone and glass, achieving a sophisticated balance between industrial materials and refined execution. The building exemplifies Fluid Motion Architects' approach to creating dynamic spatial experiences within tight urban constraints.
