The so-called "Sarhang House" is a residential structure surveyed by the Isfahan Urban History Project in 1976. It was dated by the team to the nineteenth century.A notable feature of this courtyard house was a large and elaborately decorated wooden awning that projected over a set of windows opening onto the house's courtyard. The awning included a large plaster panel painted with garden and hunting scenes, as well as painted wooden beams. Other parts of the house's facade were decorated with carved and painted stucco.
