Davar Abizadeh

Biographie

Davar Abizadeh is a director at Arup, where he has worked since 1979. A graduate of the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Tehran, he holds a doctorate in mechanics from the Imperial College of Science and Technology. He specializes in the design of mechanical and building-services systems — including tunnel ventilation, airflow and aerodynamic analysis, air filtration, monitoring and control, energy management, and heating, condensation and air-distribution systems — for a wide range of industrial and commercial buildings. He served on the jury of the 3rd Grand Me'mar Award (1382 / 2003).
