Biographie

Iranian-Canadian architect (b. 1942, Tehran). Won nationwide competition in 1966 at age 24 to design the Shahyad Tower (now Azadi Tower) for Iran's 2,500-year empire anniversary. Studied at studios of Heydar Ghiai and Houshang Seyhoun. Left Iran in November 1978. Also designed Sharif University of Technology and Faculty of Business Management in Tehran. Practices in Vancouver, Canada.
