Biographie

Keyvan Khosravani (born 1323/1944 in Tehran) is an Iranian architect known for his deep engagement with indigenous Iranian architecture and its harmony with natural surroundings. A graduate of architecture in 1348 (1969), he began his professional career in 1350 (1971). His work represents one of the first steps in defining an identity in contemporary Iranian architecture through a historical approach that bridges traditional forms and modern practice. His artistic capacity and design versatility distinguish him as a significant figure in contemporary Iranian architecture. Notable works include the Nain Inn, the Library of the Institute for the Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults in Tehran, and his family house in Jolfa, Isfahan.
