Biographie

Iranian-American architect. BA from Carnegie Institute of Technology (1961), MArch from Harvard (1962). One of the most important architects to emerge from Iran. Known for integrating Islamic architectural traditions with contemporary design. Founded Mandala Collaborative in Tehran (1972). Visiting Professor at Harvard and Yale. Major works include Iran Centre for Management Studies and Bu Ali Sina University.
