Honorary Mentions: Restoration and Reconstruction
Chamran House (Museum), Tehran
The Chamran House in Tehran received an Honorary Mention in the Restoration-Reconstruction category. Designed by Soomeh Consulting Engineers under architect Farzad Rostamfar, the project sensitively restored the historic home of Mostafa Chamran — a key figure in the Iranian Revolution — into a museum preserving its heritage while introducing contemporary functionality.
Rais Ali Delvari Museum, Bushehr
The Rais Ali Delvari Museum in Delvar near Bushehr also received an Honorary Mention. The renovation of the historic house of this national hero transformed it into an ethnological museum while preserving its traditional Bushehri architectural character.
The jury recognized both projects for demonstrating sensitivity to heritage preservation while introducing contemporary functionality.
