Two International Competitions
"Less Aesthetics, More Ethics" is the theme of the architecture section of the 2000 Venice Biennale and its associated workshops. Massimiliano Fuksas, in charge of the architecture section, describes the workshops as follows: "The main aim is to create a workshop that will run for two years. During that time, a consulting group for the architecture section of the Venice Biennale will publish the exhibition's content and themes online, with the exhibition remaining on-line for a year. The theme of 'More Ethics' will be debated within the group, with the focus on the younger generation so that they can use this Site to present their ideas and work."
