Fiftieth Issue, After 10 Years
This is the fiftieth issue, at the start of the tenth year of publication of Memar magazine. It is due to this event that by introducing all those that have made the continuation of this magazine possible throughout these years, the editor-in-chief shows her appreciation of them.
Editorial Staff (1377 / 1998)
At the founding of Memar magazine in 1377 (1998), the initial team that shaped the publication's vision and identity included Ahmad Azimi Bolourian, who served on the editorial board from the very first issue through subsequent years. The editorial advisory board evolved over the magazine's first decade, bringing together leading voices in Iranian architecture and urbanism.
Contributors and Writers
Over ten years and fifty issues, Memar magazine has been enriched by the work of numerous writers, critics, translators, and photographers who have contributed articles, essays, translations, and images. These include architects, academics, critics, and journalists from across Iran and abroad who have brought depth and diversity to the magazine's coverage of architecture, urban design, and the built environment.
Production and Administrative Staff
The magazine's consistent publication over a decade was made possible by dedicated production and administrative teams handling design, layout, printing coordination, distribution, and business operations. Their behind-the-scenes work ensured that each issue reached its readership on time and in quality form.
Memar Award Supporters
The seven editions of the Memar Award held during this period were supported by sponsors, jury members, and organizational partners whose commitment to recognizing excellence in Iranian architecture helped establish the award as the country's most prestigious architectural honor.
To all who have contributed to making Memar magazine a reality over these ten years -- from writers and photographers to editors and production staff, from advisory board members to loyal readers -- this fiftieth issue is dedicated with gratitude.
