Winner of third place, with a total area of 2640 m². The complex is composed of two blocks (A and B) angled toward the centre of the square, using varied geometric form to avoid the usual serialisation of mass-housing while attending to urban-design and the project economy.
Jury statement — third rank, for: 1. attention to urban-design issues in the design; 2. suitable spatial distribution with regard to the particular urban situation, the special programme of residential complex-building, and the project economy. The jury's critique is that, to avoid the usual serialisation, the designer used varied geometric form and a look of randomness that is not necessarily consistent with the conditions of use of the interior spaces.
