Thirty-nine projects reached the semifinalist stage in the Renovation category of the 17th Memar Award (1396 / 2017) — works that did not advance to the finalist round but were judged by the jury as deserving public mention. They span historic-building restorations, office interiors, cafés, shop renovations, residential rebuilds, and a handful of villa-renovation projects, located across Tehran, Mashhad, Tabriz, Khorramabad, Sanandaj, Chalous, Mazandaran, Isfahan, Ahvaz, and the Tehran–Karaj highway.
