1330 House in Mahabad is a renovation project of an old house from the 1950s (1330s Solar Hijri). By preserving the original structure and identity of the building, the designer rearranged the interior spaces to suit contemporary needs while maintaining the architectural character of mid-twentieth-century Iranian domestic architecture. The project demonstrates respect for Iran's modern architectural heritage and its thoughtful reinterpretation in the present day. 1330 House won Third Place in the Renovation category at the 21st Memar Award (2021) with 6 points, recognized for its sensitive approach to preserving and adapting a piece of Iran's modern residential heritage in West Azerbaijan province.
