Arg Commercial Center

Arg Commercial Center in Tehran is a renovation project near the Tajrish neighborhood that won joint Second Place in the Renovation category at the 15th Memar Award (2015). The project encompasses the redesign of the facade, landscaping, and interior spaces of an existing commercial complex. The primary challenge was transforming an ordinary, identity-less commercial complex into an attractive and recognizable space.

The new facade, utilizing a system of metal frames and green space, has given the building a distinctly different character. The landscaping, by creating seating areas and pedestrian paths, has elevated the shopping experience from a purely commercial space to a social and recreational one. Varied paving and green space have created a pleasant environment for lingering and spending time.
