This complex with buildings around a central courtyard is one of eight historic Safavid and Qajar structures restored and reconstructed for the Art University. A "khanqah", or a place of meditation for Sufis, in the middle of the courtyard serves today as the campus auditorium.Source: Aga Khan Trust for Culture
