Bokhara 1 Building

Shared winner of the 2nd Place at the 4th Grand Memar Award (2004), Bokhara 1 Apartments in Lavasan was designed by Noushin Gheyasi. The project demonstrated sophisticated urban apartment design on an irregular lot, with approximately 330 square meters of total area. The building sits at the intersection of two narrow streets, and the architect skillfully responded to the complex geometric constraints of the site. The jury commended the project for achieving spatial richness despite the challenging conditions of the irregular plot, noting its distinct approach to residential design that balances privacy with communal living.
