Winner of the 2nd Place at the 7th Memar Architecture Award (2007), the Ehsan Poud Textile Factory is located in Phase 2 of the Shokuhieh Industrial Zone on the Qom Highway. Designed by Abbas Riahi Fard, Kamran Heirati, and Hooman Balazadeh for client Mojtaba Tanha, the factory was built between April 2006 and August 2007 with a total built area of 12,244 square meters.

The building features a dramatic exposed steel structure with large-span trusses that define both the interior production spaces and the exterior profile. The architects created a bold architectural statement through the honest expression of structural elements, with soaring steel frames that rise above the factory floor to create monumental entrance canopies and covered loading areas. Red accent cladding on selected structural elements adds visual dynamism to the otherwise industrial palette of steel and stone.

The design demonstrates that industrial architecture can achieve spatial grandeur through structural innovation. The 3D skin visualizations show how the building envelope was conceived as a series of interlocking structural shells, each responding to specific programmatic needs while contributing to the overall architectural composition.
