سفارت جمهوری اسلامی ایران در توکیو
The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Tokyo was designed by Hossein Sheikh Zeineddin of Bavand Consulting Engineers. The project was recognized as a jury selection at the 5th Grand Memar Award in 2005. Designed between January 2002 and April 2003, and constructed in 18 months (May 2003–September 2004), the embassy represents Iranian architecture on the international stage with a modern concrete and glass facade that incorporates elements of Iranian spatial tradition. The Japanese consultant Nihon Sekkei collaborated on the technical aspects, while the general construction was handled by Taisei Corporation.
