Entrance Gate of Art University’s Farabi Campus Architect: DAAL Architecture Studio Location: Karaj, Iran Date: 2015 Status: Competition Proposal Client: Art University Design Team: Alireza Esfandiari, Mohammadreza Esfandiari, Hilda Tehrani Design Associate: Azin Fathi We had a special attention to Iranian aesthetics aspects like presence of geometry and symmetry and using vault as an ancient Iranian archetype to design this building. Most used material in this building is break which resist for a long time and also is one of the Iranian architecture symbols and also has harmony with existence building in the university campus.
