The oldest surviving Persian garden, where architecture and nature enter a dialogue that has continued for over four centuries. A natural spring — the Fin Spring — feeds the garden's network of turquoise pools and channels through cypress-lined pathways, creating the quintessential chahar-bagh: a walled paradise divided into quadrants by flowing water. The garden has witnessed history's turning points: it was here that Amir Kabir, Iran's great reformist prime minister, was assassinated in the bathhouse in 1852. The Fin Bathhouse, pool pavilion, and Safavid-era library still stand within the garden walls. UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2012.
