Ghavam-od-Doleh House

A Qajar-era historic house in Tehran's Sarcheshmeh neighbourhood featuring extraordinary mirror work (aineh-kari), figurative paintings, stained glass orosi windows, and traditional decorative arts. The building follows the classic introverted Iranian residential plan with north and south courtyards connected by corridors, with two grand halls adorned in the finest examples of late Qajar decorative arts. Acquired and restored by the Ministry of Culture and Art in 1967, it stands as one of Tehran's most significant surviving examples of traditional residential architecture.
