A landmark urban regeneration project transforming the historic bazaar and its adjacent stream in the ancient city of Mahallat. Led by Negin Shahr Ayandeh, the landscape intervention works with the existing waterway and historic commercial fabric rather than against them, creating pedestrian pathways, restored facades, and green spaces that reinvigorate the traditional market district. Kamran Afshar Naderi noted this as one of the most successful examples of urban regeneration in recent Iranian practice, achieving an authentic sense of place. Winner of First Place in Renovation at the 12th Memar Award (2012).
