Winner of the 5th Place at the 7th Memar Architecture Award (2007), the Mehregan Office Building is located on Golbarg Street in Tehran. Designed by Mehdi Marzyari and Maryam Alavi of Zavieh Architecture Office for Abadgostar-e-Mehregan Company, the building was constructed between 2003 and 2007 with a total area of 2,150 square meters.
The design is organized around a function-based spatial logic, clearly expressed in the facade through horizontal bands of different materials and treatments. The ground floor serves as lobby and parking, while upper floors contain open offices, shared areas, meeting rooms, and executive spaces. The facade features a system of horizontal louvers and projecting floor plates that provide solar shading and create a distinctive layered appearance, particularly dramatic when illuminated at night.
A site plan shows the building's compact footprint within a dense urban block, while the diagrams illustrate the function-forming process from the existing structure to the final scheme. The construction was managed by Harirchi & Associates Architects with supervision by Mehdi Marzyari, demonstrating a collaborative approach to realizing the design vision within a complex urban context.
