Winner of the 1st Place at the 7th Memar Architecture Award (2007), the Paykar Bonyan Panel Factory is located in Parand Industrial Zone, 35 kilometers from Tehran on the Saveh Highway. Designed by ARAD Design Co. (Bahram Kalantari and Kourosh Dabagh), the factory was built between October 2006 and September 2007 for Paykar Bonyan Company, a manufacturer of industrial panels.

The design responds to the challenge of creating an architectural identity for an industrial building while maintaining the modular rhythm and functional efficiency required of a production facility. The architects employed a bold geometric language of repeated white volumes with angular skylights that bring natural light deep into the factory floor. The repetitive structural bays create a rhythmic facade that transforms the industrial shed typology into a visually striking composition.

ARAD Design Co., founded in 2004 by Kalantari and Dabagh, brought their experience in research-driven design and collaborative practice to the project. The jury praised the building for its successful integration of industrial function with architectural ambition, demonstrating that factory architecture in Iran could aspire to design excellence. The project was completed through close collaboration between client, consultant, and contractor, with 3D modeling used extensively throughout the design process.
