Retiring Together won first place in the Public Buildings category at the 24th Memar Award (2024) with the highest overall score (14 points). Located in Khomeinishahr, Isfahan Province. Client: Farzanegan Charity. A retirement home conceived not as a place to keep the elderly but as a home where they can live with their peers—a retirement life in a place like a neighborhood, like a garden, where they derive their identity and dignity. The design asks: is a retirement home a place for keeping the elderly, or a home where they can live together with people their own age?
