Adaptive reuse of the historic Silahtarağa Power Plant — the Ottoman Empire's first urban power station built in 1914 — into a contemporary art and energy museum on the campus of Istanbul Bilgi University. Han Tümertekin's design preserves the industrial machinery while adding a pathway and stairs that guide visitors through the sequence of the electric production process, creating a dialogue between heritage and contemporary intervention.
