The Sefidrood Restaurant, located on the road approaching Rasht on the south side of Anbian, is a commercial building designed by George Darash. Its most striking feature is a series of angular, tent-like folded-plate roof forms that rise dramatically against the flat landscape of the Gilan plain. The dark metal-clad roof structure creates a powerful silhouette while incorporating clerestory glazing with colored glass panels between the peaks. The design evokes the vernacular timber construction traditions of the surrounding region while employing contemporary materials and structural techniques.
