Villa for Younger Brother

Villa for Younger Brother in Lavasan, Tehran, designed by Alireza Taghaboni and Nextoffice, won joint Third Place in the Individual Dwellings category at the 15th Memar Award (2015). The project is situated on a plot within the urban fabric with limited street access. The architect creatively leveraged the site's constraints to create an introverted and private space that maintains a strong visual connection with the sky and nature.

The building's unconventional form and volumetric plays have given the project a unique identity. The inward-looking design transforms the limitations of a narrow, enclosed plot into an architectural advantage, creating surprising spatial experiences and controlled relationships between interior spaces and the natural world above.
