The Villashahr Residential Complex in Rodbar Ghasran is a hillside housing development designed by Mohammad Majidi of Bonsar Architectural Office. Set against the dramatic backdrop of the Alborz mountains, the complex divides its program into individual blocks that step down the slope, creating a sense of individuality within a larger development. The terraced units feature stone and plaster facades that respond to the mountainous landscape.
Selected as a jury selection at the 8th Memar Award (2008), Guallart praised the architect's approach: "The architect has divided each unit into small blocks and thereby created a sense of individuality for the complex. The solution is good and the result is an entirely acceptable project." Ahmadi described the approach as "completely radical in this context." The site covers 2,000 square meters with a total built area of 3,330 square meters.
