The Yarmand Building on Mardavij Street in Isfahan won Second Place in the Residential Buildings category at the 9th Memar Award (2009). Designed by Shervin Hoseini, the 990 m² building on a 235 m² lot integrates residential and office functions within a compact urban form.

Hossein Sheikh Zeinoddin praised the project as a healing center — a solid envelope with good proportions, though noting that some detailing could be improved. Franco Micucci found the project complex in the positive sense, with multiple ideas that sometimes conflict but ultimately compose into a unified whole, demonstrating skillful use of limited resources. Reza Daneshmir commended the project's cross-sectional design, where flowing volumes and circulation create vertical spatial drama, though noting a minor planning error in elevator placement. Kamran Afshar Naderi observed that the urban sensation has been brought into the interior — the quality of space, achieved through sectional design, transforms the interior into a single flowing volume despite the diversity of materials.

The building features a dynamic facade of tile, metal louvers, and glass that articulates its mixed-use program. The interior is organized around a dramatic double-height void where stairs, bridges, and mezzanines create a vertical promenade of interconnected spaces. Warm wood finishes, exposed concrete, and carefully calibrated natural light give each level a distinct character while maintaining spatial unity.
