Biography
Abdolreza Dokani (also transliterated Zokaii) is an Iranian architect and engineer who served as the lead designer and project manager for the New Building of Iran's Islamic Consultative Assembly at the Baharestan Complex in Tehran. Working through Polmir Consultants, he oversaw the design and realization of one of Tehran's most prominent civic buildings, featuring a distinctive triangular pyramid form clad in stone. The project, originally conceived in 1973-74 and completed in 2001, required nearly three decades of development through political changes and technical challenges.
