Hans Kollhoff is a German architect known for his distinctive approach to urban architecture that draws on historical building traditions. His most recognized work is the Kollhoff Tower at Potsdamer Platz in Berlin, a 22-story brick-clad high-rise inspired by American skyscrapers of the 1920s. Kollhoff studied architecture at the University of Karlsruhe and the Architectural Association in London, and has taught at ETH Zurich and other institutions.
