Iranian architect (b. 1937, Tehran). Founded DAZ Architects, Planners and Engineers. Designed and was founding director of Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art. Won Aga Khan Award for Architecture (1986) for Shushtar New Town. Left Iran in 1978. Currently practices in Paris and Spain. Visiting scholar at Cornell University. Cousin of Farah Diba.
