Abi Gallery, winner of Second Place in Renovation at the 12th Memar Award (2012), is a basement conversion project on Dibaji Street, Tehran, by ZAV Design & Build (Mohammadreza Ghodousi and Hossein Hejrati). The approximately 50 m² space transforms a forgotten basement into a vibrant art gallery. The project earned 9 jury points and was praised for its inventive spatial intervention that maximizes a minimal footprint, demonstrating how creative design can breathe new life into overlooked urban spaces.
