A 21-storey office building with a steel and granite structure set in the heart of the city centre. The design of the building is set around the ancient Iranian motif - a square star "shamseh" resembling two revolving squares - and culminates in a copper dome. The dome, in turn, was based on the old and now demolished Telegraph and Post Office in Tehran, which in its time acted as a symbol of modern Tehran.Source: Aga Khan Trust for Culture
