Bibliotheca Alexandrina Competition Entry

Competition entry for the Bibliotheca Alexandrina international design competition. The project, developed by Shirdel, Zago, and Kipnis, proposed a radical departure from monumental library typologies, envisioning a complex spatial structure informed by contemporary philosophical discourse on language and knowledge. The competition attracted 524 entries from 77 countries.
