Cheshm Cheran Villa is a residential retreat located at the foot of the hills of Minoudasht in Golestan Province, designed by ZAV Architects under the direction of Sara Jafari. The site is expansive, with a gentle slope and panoramic views. The design team placed the building mass in an unused depression beside a rainwater reservoir, at a strategic four-way intersection that maximizes visual connections to the surrounding landscape. Rather than designing traditional corridors between rooms, the architects expanded the connecting spaces outward, creating an elevated platform that extends the garden into the living space and eliminates conventional boundaries between indoor and outdoor activities. The jury praised the project for its bold spatial strategy and its thoughtful integration with the natural landscape.
