House No. 22 is a residential building in Tehran designed by George Darash. The facade features assertive horizontal bands of varying brick patterns creating a strong visual rhythm across the street elevation. The ground floor is recessed behind decorative metalwork gates for the garage, while the upper floors project forward, creating a sheltered zone at street level. The interior spaces include a fireplace, a traditional pavilion area, a patio, and a garage, all integrated into a compact urban plot. The treatment of the courtyard and patio spaces demonstrates how traditional Iranian domestic organization can be reinterpreted within contemporary construction.
