Educatorium Utrecht

The Educatorium at Utrecht University, designed by Rem Koolhaas and OMA, demonstrates that high-quality architecture is achievable at modest cost. Built with a bulk area of 25,000 square meters on a budget of approximately 12 million dollars, it proved that architectural quality need not depend on expensive materials and finishes. The building houses lecture halls, examination rooms, and a restaurant for the university.
