Eilkhaneh in Tehran, designed by [Shift] Process Practice (Nashid Nabian and Rambod Eilkhani) with Dorna Mesrzadeh, is a residential project that redefines the concept of communal living within contemporary apartment design. The name "Eilkhaneh" (tribal house) references Iranian social living traditions, and the building design seeks to revive shared spaces and neighborly interactions within the residential structure. The project won joint 2nd place in the Apartment Buildings category at the 14th Memar Award (2014).
