The Jabaliyeh Dome is Kerman’s only historic stone building. The dome stands on the slope of Saheb al-Zaman mountain, beside the Qa’em forest. Unfortunately, no precise information about when the building was constructed is available, but some historians and archaeologists attribute it to the late Sasanian period, while others believe it was built at the beginning of the Seljuk period, inspired by Sasanian architecture. The Jabaliyeh Dome has now been turned into a stone museum, and many gravestones and historic inscriptions discovered in the province are kept there.
