Entrance and security building for Minousa Small Town in Gilavand, designed by Kourosh Rafiee. The 15 m² guard kiosk uses raw, unfinished iron as the outer skin so the building reads as a natural element and weathers with time. A small ground-floor control space and an upper-floor sleeping room are wrapped by a thermal-insulated layered shell. Finalist in the Public Buildings category of the 17th Memar Award (2017).
