Located in the old neighborhood of Jouzdan in Isfahan, Mrs. Iran House is a renovation of a historic working-class home. The neighborhood has been absorbed into the urban residential fabric for over 30 years. The walls contain diverse materials from mud brick to kiln-fired brick, reflecting the modest means of its owners. Renovations included replacing the wooden ceiling covering, creating a bathroom and storage in the single bedroom, building stairs from the courtyard to a basement converted into a guest room, creating a connecting corridor between the bedroom and kitchen, and installing heating facilities. Total built area: 118 sq.m.
