Major cultural theater in the Kop van Zuid dock area of Rotterdam. A 1,500-seat theater with a dynamic 360-degree form that serves as a hinge between the Wilhelmina Pier office towers and the historic Tax Office. The exterior features red-colored fiber-cement panels and curved wooden boards reminiscent of ship planking. Interior features include wall-hugging ramps, a truck ramp to the first-floor stage, and acoustic clouds by artist Joop van Lieshout. The building is described as 'a red splash above the harbor' — a new urban focal point.
