The landscape architecture of Nik Hospital in Nikabad, a small city east of Isfahan, won third place at the 21st Memar Award (2021) in the Public Buildings category. The hospital and clinic is a charitable medical complex. The design uses color as a response to the seriousness and coldness of hospital environments—blue pathways for calm and silence, red playgrounds for joy and excitement. The Zayandeh Rud river has no water, and most residents of eastern Isfahan are farmers who have lost their livelihoods due to drought.
