Parliament Representatives Housing Complex
ساختمان مجموعه مسکونی نمایندگان مجلس شورای اسلامی

Year Designed2001

Proposed
A residential complex for Parliament Representatives, designed by Farhad Ahmadi & Associates for the Ministry of Housing & Urban Development (February 2001). The design confronted severe height restrictions — maximum five stories above pilotis with setback requirements. The form emerges from the characteristics of the land and urban fabric, with load-bearing walls divided by horizontal parallel planes that extend into tall, flat wall foundations. The design features an interplay of structural bearing elements with expanding volumetric bodies, creating an articulated architectural presence that transcends mere height.
