Rami Library

Turkey's largest public library, housed in the converted Rami Military Barracks in Istanbul's Eyüpsultan district. The adaptive reuse project transforms the 18th-century Ottoman military complex into a modern library and cultural center, preserving the monumental barracks courtyard while introducing contemporary reading spaces, research facilities, and public gathering areas.
